Our destination was Verona and its surroundings. The things which are stuck in my memory most from the exchange in Verona were amazing mountain views. For those people it is part of their daily life, for me it was totally shocking.
On Piazza Bra I ate most delicious pizzas and ice-creams ever. The place was full of shops where everyone could find something for themselves. Apart from the stay in Verona we visited a lot of other places.
I enjoyed a trip to Venice most. It is a lovely place. It cannot be talked about - It must be seen. The photos that were taken there are great souvenirs, that will remind me about the trip.
The travel was very long, but it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
I think it was worth sacrificing a bit, to live through all those pleasures.

Italy is a country of beautiful monuments, friendly people, (handsome guys ;p) and great atmosphere. From our arrival until our departure I was amazed by Italy and after this exchange I totally agree with the saying that this country is one of the most beautiful and romantic countries around the world.
Italy is a special place, from the beginning I've just fallen in love with its architecture, I've never seen such wonderful monuments which made on me the biggest impression.
We visited a few cities such as: Venice and Sirmione. As far as I'm concerned I liked Sirmione, a small city near Verona most.
Sirmoine captivated me with its nature and the castle's ruins. What is more, this city is located by a gorgeous blue lake. (I've never seen such a clean and transparent lake before :D).
Apart form all this, people who we met were open and friendly, even once we had a problem with the language, but of course we managed to find the solution which was very funny :D. It seemed important to say that not everyone can speak English and not for everyone it's easy to learn it (for instance my sister ;>)
At the beginning I was a wallflower and I didn't know what I can talk with my exchange friend about but with time I was getting to know her better, we talked more and more.
All in all I'm very happy that I had an opportunity to visit Italy, I met many interesting people, I toured lot of gorgeous places and most important I struck a few friendships which I hope will survive as long as it's possible!!!!!!!!

I?m really glad that we took part in this exchange.. to Verona..
It?s a wonderful city, where we could find a lot of monuments, restaurants, pubes and of course shops.. I think that Arena impressed me most..
It?s fantastic that this monument from the first century is still located in the city, in the centre among modern and new buildings..
Frankly speaking I?ve been a lot of times to Italy before.. with parents, friends on holiday or skiing.. and only when I have a possibility to go there I go.. but exchanges are something else, sth more.. It isn?t the same like a normal trip to Italy.. because it isn?t only visiting, sightseeing, resting.. we make friends, we are with each other all the time, we must use English, but we have fun with each other, joke, smile..
It?s amazing because to be honest we are similar in spite of diffrent customs, traditions, culture differences.. I?m still keeping in contact with the Italians, we talk almost everyday with each other.. This exchange was the best thing ever..! It?s a shame that when you have fun, time goes faster..
I really miss all of you and I can?t wait to host you in April..

I recall my stay in Verona as a really good time. Maybe because it was my first student exchange and my first visit to Italy. I was staying in Jennifer?s house.
I heard that Italian people are very polite and hospitable, but I didn?t expect that they would greet me so warmly. I felt like I was in my home! I found common language with Jen. Now we write to each other and exchange our thoughts.
I was also very surprised with our tight schedule. We visited many beautiful places which made an impression of me. I fell in love with Verona and Venice. I regret that the weather wasn?t good, but I hope that I will go back to these places sometime in the summer. I can?t forget this delicious Italian cuisine too. One day Jennifer took me to her grandma?s house for a ceremonial dinner. The dishes were very tasty, so I took a recipe for some of them and now I?m trying to cook similar ones;). I recall the evenings in particular when we were united at the disco or in a pub .
I hope that I will be able to show Jennifer some of my favorite places for evenings when she comes. As for me our student exchange was great, new experience which I will never forget !

Verona is one of the oldest and the most beautiful Italian cities. That City is located in the wonderful neighborhood (the river, steep hills, Garda Lake, and Alps in the background). There are a lot of monuments with fantastic townscape. The city has University too, Higher Music School, a lot of museums, libraries. It?s a big centre of culture. The city?s tourist infrastructure is developing very fast. Courtesy and warm-hearted of Veronese inhabitants and wonderful preparation attract more tourist with every year. But the most popular attraction in Verona is fact that that city is connect with Romeo?s and Juliet?s tragic love story. Thanks story with is being written by Shakespeare Verona is called THE CITY OF ROMEO AND JULIET.

Romeo and Juliet, a tragic love story Juliet?s house and the legendary balcony Bronze monument of Juliet (N. Constantini) and famous Juliet?s balcony. The story wrote by Shakespeare goes with atmosphere of mediaeval Verona. There is concrete, tangible reference that there could live those two persons. One of that is Julia?s home located on Capellostreet. That building has been built in XIII century. The urban myths say that there lived La Familial Capulet. On the walls of home is a plate with verse in Italian and English inscription. |

The super Romanesque façade of San Zero and the imposing structure of Sant? Anastasia, gem of Veronese Gothic. The Basilica of Sant Zeno has one of the most harmonious facades that epoch. The Arena The Veronese amphitheatre with is know like ARENA is the oldest and the biggest monument of that city. It stand up probably in second century and at first was located outside city. Building?s shape is circle. It?s preserve wonderful. |

The Arch of the Gavii. The Arch of the Gavii have been built in 1930 on square with is located near Adyga river. Originally it was located in the middle of the most crowded street in Verona near Clock Tower, but in 1705 had been destroyed by Frenchmen. |

Patroni della Bra We have to pass Arches to get into Piazza Bra, Veronese square. It?s a part of defense walls with have been built in XIV century. |

Piazza Bra It?s the biggest and monumental square in all Italy. We have to pass Patroni della Bra to get there. The centre of that square decorates big monument of Victor Emanuel II and the new one monument of guerrilla. There are also monuments like Palazzo Della Gran Guardi, Palazzo Barbieri and Arena of course. |

I usually wake up at 6 o’clock. I go to the bathroom where I brush my teeth and wash my face. I brush and straighten my hair. Then I get dressed and pack my books in a bag. Next I go to the kitchen and eat cornflakes with milk and drink tee. I leave the house and I rush to a bus stop. I start lessons at 7.45 a.m. and spend seven hours at school. When I get home, I eat dinner with my mother. Then I do my homework. Later I go to the gym. I am at home at 10 p.m. I’m very tired and take a bath. Next I use the Internet and talk with my friends. Then I go to sleep.

At home I have dinner. Always after dinner I go to a gym. I love running and jumping. I train high jump. I love it! After the training I do my homework and I have supper. After that I watch TV, surf the Internet and sometimes I listen to the radio. I like pop and rock music. Sometimes I go for a walk with my sister. I love being in the fresh air. It's Friday. I wake up at 7 o'clock, rather reluctantly. I wash, get dressed and I have a sandwich or cornflakes for breakfast. I go to the bus stop at 8 o'clock, because I start lessons at 8.35. I have only four lessons and I'm very happy, because after school I have more time for myself. The day at school is rather monotonous and uninteresting. I finish lessons at 12.15. After school I go shopping with my sister. About 2 pm I'm at home. About 3 pm I have a tasty dinner. After dinner I go walking with my friend. Afterwards I start preparing for my friend’s party. When I’m ready I go with other friends to a party. At the party I have a good time. After a few hours I come back home. I’m so tired, but very happy. Then I wash and I go to bed. Fridays are nice.

Tuesday I get up at 6 o'clock. After shower I get dressed, eat breakfast and pack bag to school. Later I usually go out with my dog. Than I go to school. In general, I start lessons at 7.45 and I have 8 classes: biology, math, German, geography, chemistry, religion, English and polish. I came back from school about 3 p.m. Later I eat dinner and do my homework. Then I have some free time to relax. After English school I meet my friends. We often play volleyball or basketball. In the evening I eat cornflakes and drink tee than I surf on the internet, listen music or just watch TV, because I am really tired. After shower I go to bed at 11.30 p.m.

Every Monday I wake up at 6.30 o’clock. First of all I get dressed than I brush my teeth and wash my face. If I have enough time , I eat breakfast. All this things takes me about 30 minutes. Next my mum give me a lift to the bus stop. In the bus I meet my friends and we ride to the school together. Lessons starts at 7.45. On Monday I have very difficult subjects; mathematic, geography, physics, biology and Polish. I come back home about 4p.m . Than my mum makes delicious lunch and I have free time for relax . At 6p.m. I go to English course. About 8p.m. I’m back at home. Then I spend time learning. When I finish learning I take a shower and I pack my books into the rucksack. Later I talk a few minutes with my friends on “gadu-gadu”. If on TV there is an interesting movie , I watch it. About 12p.m. I go sleep.

My alarm clock goes off at six-I must get up. At quarter past six I'm eating delicious scrambled eggs with chives for breakfast. After that I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth, wash hands and face. When I finish it is twenty past seven and I must go to school, because lessons start in twenty minutes. At school I have eight lessons: Polish, English, physics, mathematics, biology, history, geography and chemistry. Well when I'm back from school I'm very exhausted-but after dinner I quickly gain strength and I can do my homework and help my aunt with housework. When we finish I talk with my friends on the Internet because it is dark and I should stay at home. It is half eight my sister Agata prepares colorful and very healthy sandwiches with vegetables for supper. At 10 pm we finish washing the dishes and I can go to bed.

Today is Friday. I get up at half past six. First I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth quickly. Then I get dressed, brush my hair and go for a walk with my dog. When I return, I go to the kitchen and eat breakfast. After that I feed my dog. Then I go to school. It’s a short way from home that’s way I go there on foot. I usually start lesson at 7 o’clock a.m. Today I have 4 lessons: two histories and two Polish lessons. During a long break I can eat my second breakfast and listen to music. I come back to home afternoon and eat my delicious dinner. After that I usually go upstairs to my room and do my homework. Later I help my mother clean up home and then play with my younger brother. He is very funny. Sometimes I take a walk with my friends or just go out with them e.g. to the cinema. When I’m exhausted I listen to music and lie down. In the evening I have a supper. After that I take a shower, brush my teeth and spend so time at the computer. At 11p.m. I go to bed. I love Friday, because at the end this day I often go out with my friend and finally take it easy!!!

ZSPS i VIII LO, to szkoła zarządzająca wiedzą, otwarta na środowisko lokalne, aktywnie współpracująca z rodzicami, gdzie każdy uczeń z dumą mówi: "to moja szkoła".
W latach 2016-2021 zamierzamy budować szkołę, która umie sobie poradzić z nowymi wyzwaniami, celami, priorytetami edukacyjnymi, potrzebami, aspiracjami i oczekiwaniami uczniów, rodziców i nauczycieli.

Moja wizja
ZSPS i VIII LO to szkoła zarządzająca wiedzą, otwarta na środowisko
lokalne, aktywnie współpracująca z rodzicami, gdzie każdy uczeń z dumą mówi:
„to moja szkoła”.
W latach 2022 – 2027 zamierzam nadal budować szkołę, która umie sobie poradzić ze zmianami i nie narzeka na to, że te zmiany są, bo świat się zmienił, a wraz z nim edukacyjne priorytety, cele, potrzeby, a także uczniowie, rodzice, ich aspiracje i oczekiwania.
Obecnie liczą się:
- umiejętności (np. cyfrowe, komunikowania się, współpracy, a także uczenia się i zarządzania informacją, bycia źródłem inspiracji),
- opieka psychologiczno-pedagogiczna,
- otwartość szkoły jako instytucji (uczeń ma możliwość wyboru profilu nauczania),
- dostęp do informacji,
- poczucie bezpieczeństwa, którego podstawą jest dobra atmosfera i dobre relacje z całą społecznością szkolną,
- możliwość współtworzenia szkoły,
- nowoczesne technologie, multimedia.
Te priorytety wraz z reformą oświaty, nowoczesne technologie oraz talenty społeczności szkolnej wyznaczać będą kierunek rozwoju naszej szkoły przy zachowaniu dotychczasowej struktury wewnętrznej i możliwości szybkiego dostosowania się do sytuacji na rynku pracy.
Główne kierunki moich działań zawarłam w sześciu podstawowych obszarach:
- Demokratyczne zarządzanie szkołą.
- Kształcenie ukierunkowane na rozwój ucznia i nauczyciela.
- Wychowanie w szkole.
- Bezpieczeństwo w szkole.
- Działania administracyjno-gospodarcze.
- Pozyskiwanie środków finansowych na rozwój.
